Rehabilitation & Reintegration
Justice support, rehabilitation, and reintegration for safer communities.
Center for Legal Support and Inmates’ Rehabilitation (CELSIR) is a social enterprise organization providing free legal support to indigent persons and victims of human rights violations in Kenya.
Our team of legal practitioners, paralegals, social workers, and volunteers works to expand access to justice while advancing rehabilitation and reintegration for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated persons.
What We Do
CELSIR combines legal aid, rehabilitation, sentence review support, reintegration programming, and public education so justice is not treated as a single event but as a full pathway back to dignity.
Why CELSIR exists.
Too many people encounter arrest, custody, or release without legal guidance, psychosocial support, or a practical reintegration plan. CELSIR exists to close those gaps and help justice-impacted people move toward dignity, safety, and second chances.
- Rights-based, dignity-centered support
- Free legal aid for indigent and vulnerable persons
- Rehabilitation and reintegration beyond the courtroom
- Research-informed advocacy and partnership building
